The River Room, with its private terrace and the most breathtaking views overlooking the River Thames, provides the perfect setting for you and your partner to exchange vows and seal your commitment to one another. With a Civil Marriage License and Civil Partnership License for up to forty guests, you can enjoy an intimate gathering with your closest friends and family in beautiful, unsurpassed surroundings.

Following your ceremony, you may choose between The Terrace Suite and The Cellars for your Champagne buffet reception or formal wedding breakfast.

Restaurant Exclusive Use

The Restaurant at The Petersham may be available for exclusive use for receptions (90 guests), lunch or dinner (70 guests). Each table boasts unspoilt, panoramic views of the River Thames; a wonderful backdrop for any special occasion.

The Terrace Suite

For larger parties, The Terrace Suite which is located on the ground floor of the hotel, offers private dining for up to 26 guests. This elegant room is bright and airy and has double doors allowing access to the bar terrace which overlooks the meadow and river. During the spring and summer months you’ll see cows grazing in the meadow below; a sight that is rarely seen so close to London.

The River Room

With its private terrace and views stretching out across the Petersham meadow to the Thames, The River Room will provide the perfect setting for your special celebration. The room is elegantly appointed with stylish accessories and furniture. The outdoor terrace allows ample room for guests to enjoy the view of the beautiful countryside.

The Cellar

With its vaulted ceilings and quaint alcoves, The Cellar is a unique and wonderful location for private dining, wine tasting, gastronomic dinners and murder mystery themed events. Made up of two areas, the Tasting Room is an exclusive bar area for pre dinner drinks and receptions while The Claret Room provides the setting for an intimate lunch or dinner, seating up to 16 guests.
