The river room
With its private terrace and views stretching out across the Petersham meadow to the Thames,
The River Room will provide the perfect setting for your special celebration. The room is
elegantly appointed with stylish accessories and furniture. The outdoor terrace allows ample
room for guests to enjoy the view of the beautiful countryside. The River Room is available
for receptions of up to 70 guests making it ideal for wedding celebrations, christening and
birthday receptions, baby showers, special anniversaries and business events.
The terrace suite
Located on the ground floor, this lavish space combines two reception rooms creating an exclusive
private suite. The décor is classic making this room ideal for hosting all manner of occasions
be it a breakfast meeting with clients, a celebratory lunch with colleagues or friends, a dinner
party or reception. The Terrace Suite will seat up to 26 guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner
and up to 70 guests for a reception.
The cellar
Surrounded by thousands of bottles of ageing wine, The Cellars offer a unique and wonderful dining
experience for all. With stone floors and vaulted ceilings, this labyrinth of rooms is home to a
collection of fine wines from some of the most distinguished vineyards of the world.
Full of character and ambience, The ‘Tasting Room’ is an impressive reception room for pre dinner
drinks as well as tutored wine tasting events for up to 30 guests and receptions for up to 40
guests. Discreetly tucked away behind the Tasting Room lies The Claret Room; seating up to 16
guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The atmosphere in The Cellars is ‘grown up’; perfect for
pre wedding dinners, ‘murder mystery’ themed events and special anniversaries and celebrations.
The large study
The Large Study is one of the most intimate private dining rooms The Petersham has to offer.
Seating up to 10 guests, the Study is quietly located on the lower ground floor and is ideal
for important business dinners.
