We very much appreciate your co-operation and thank you for your consideration to others.
Pre-arrival
We politely request that if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19, such as a high temperature or new and persistent cough, that you call us to postpone your stay. We understand the importance of flexibility at this time, so all reservations can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 14:00 on the day of arrival without charge.
Prior to your arrival, we will contact you by telephone with all the necessary information about your stay and our latest Covid-19 management processes. If you have any special requirements, do please let us know before you arrive, so we can properly prepare for you and your safety.
Arrival and Check In
Perspex screens are at reception to allow safe registration to take place and to help everyone maintain the recommended social distancing (currently 1 metre plus).
The concierge, porter and rooming services are temporarily suspended, but the desk staff will be pleased to help wherever they can.
The leading brand – Zoono hand sanitiser – is available for arriving guests, on the reception desk and then throughout your stay. As this sanitiser is effective for 24 hours, please ensure you use it every day. Members of staff use it at the start of each shift and we regard it to be at the heart of our defence and virus management.
Common Areas
You are welcome to use the lifts which will be regularly sanitised. Our team will explain how to use them safely and hand sanitiser will be available in each lift for use after pressing the buttons. We ask that they are occupied by only one person or household at a time, to allow safe distancing.
Throughout your stay we ask that you please keep a social distance of a minimum of 1 metre between yourself, staff, and other guests.
All communal areas are thoroughly deep-cleaned to an exceptional standard and will continue to be so. A new comprehensive Ozone cleaning regime has been introduced to ensure the highest levels of hygiene are achieved prior to and maintained throughout your stay. This is through the Tersano system which is a Stabilised Aqueous Ozone process which kills all know bacteria, spores and viruses. It has been effective in the treatment of swimming pools, aircraft and air-conditioning for decades.
Bedrooms
Our housekeeping team have undertaken training in the effective prevention of virus transmission and will wear the appropriate PPE while working.
All usually included items placed in the rooms have been withdrawn so that there are fewer possibilities of cross contamination. These include leaflets, stationery items and some lesser used bathroom and housekeeping products.
Every guest bedroom is thoroughly deep-cleaned to an exceptional standard using the Tersano process and to complete the process, the room as been filled with natural Ozone in a calibrated dose to kill all known pathogens, viruses, spores and bacteria. The Ozone is converted back to Oxygen on completion and this makes the room ready for occupation.
No further access to the room is then permitted to anyone else, until you arrive to take occupation of that room.
Sadly, we cannot offer any stayover servicing. Additional towels, bed linen, toiletries and amenities are always available from the front desk staff or by dialing O from your room.
Dining
By law, all food service, bars and restaurants must remain closed from Wednesday 16th December.
Weddings & Funerals
A maximum of six persons may attend a wedding ceremony, and a maximum of six may attend a funeral service subject to social distancing restrictions. This applies both indoors and outdoors. Hospitality of any nature may not be served at these events.
Our Team
Our team members receive thorough and comprehensive training on effective virus transmission prevention and familiarisation with our new infection control processes. This includes total familiarity with Ozone cleaning, Zoono antibacterial cleansing and Tersano surface cleaning.
Our team members will be required to confirm they have not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 symptoms. Anyone who shows Covid-19 symptoms will be immediately sent home and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days prior to returning to work.
In most areas, our staff members will wear the appropriate PPE required while working, continue to wash their hands frequently and they will use the 24 hour effective Zoono hand sanitiser.
If you have any concerns about your stay, our team will be happy to talk further, contact us here or call 0208 9407471
